Same thing man..You can hear my red surge as well when I'm pulling...Is there a side by side of the power lost when upgrading to the 80mm housing?

what up, yea I got the red 64mm about a month ago..I kinda wish I went BBK because I hate the surge and I really don't want to put out more money for the 80mm housing..

I put down 390/320 at the wheels..23.5 psi on 93..The numbers aren't bad and it pulls like crazy..

I'm never on evom anymore haha..once I moved to DC I stick with DCevoclub now

...and some people said the 64mm housing in the FP Red never surged...go figure.

Dang and I thought my stock coupler expands alot at 28psi...sucker pulls my battery terminal cover off under boost. But yours moves ALOT! Time for some Samco's or a different UICP.

I have the 64mm cover and its tuned at 26psi and I only get surge when shifting at like 4-5k when at full boost. Otherwise I have no problems.

No.. let me rephrase that...

Why is he worrying about different covers and all of this on a FP Red when IMO you have more important things that remain untouched

^he's worrying about the different covers because of the surge; he's not really worried about the uicp because a new one wont yield any noticeable power gains

Eric had another UICP but it was not installed yet. It was a tread about the surge and nothing else.
