car wont crank

I need some help people. Today i went and did a boost leak test on my car. hooked up coupler to turbo and did my boost leak test. Sprayed some soapy water around the mivec cam gear to try and find a leak. Now when i went to start the car the car will not start. It will not crank. When i turn the key all i hear is the fuel pump whining. i disconnected the battery to try and reset something and noticed i am barely getting a spark when putting the leads back on. when i turn the key off i hear a bunch of what sounds like clicking around the intake manifold area. Has anyone come across this problem before. Please help. I need to get to work tomorrow.

got the battery tested and it checked good. Tried jumping off of my wifes car and still does the same thing. I started checking fuses and they all seemed good. checked all the ones under the dash visually and with tester and they checked good. I probed the ones under the dash and and they all turned on except the one in the top right corner. wouldnt turn on with key on or with lights on but when i checked it with fuse tester it lit up. Anyone know exactly what that fuse controls? any more suggestions.

while i had pressure going into the system i heard some hissing behind the cam gear cover. Took off the cover and i heard some hissing from somewhere around the mivec cam gear. I sprayed some soapy water around that area to try and find it but i couldnt find it. Thtats the hissing near mivec that i was reffering to.

if you had a boost leak it would not be anywhere near the cam gears since your intercooler piping is on the other side and on the underneath of the car

I would still say it is a battery issue. Even if you try and start a car with a jump, if the original battery can not give you enough amps to turn over it will probably need two jump packs to get cranking.

Put a charger on it, and yeah, check everything you took off as far as grounds or power wires.

It is very strange. Good Luck.

Agree, try to check your ground again.

I used to have a Clio RS, went for rally in dirt and mud. Didn't clean the car after stage and let the car sleep for a month.
Car wouldn't crank. I found out ground was bad. Clean and spray WD-40 all over and worked fine.

O.T: 192.000 miles? how the car feels? still punch like a 1000 miles evo?
