I guess I can't say first of all since I would be "second of all" now. I know how the thread started, just thought he might be interested in the lightest exhaust on the market that is all mandrel bent a built of 304 SS and also sells for only $750 for the entire turbo back. Not to mention it just helped us become the quickest and fastest stock turbo'd EVO in the country.

Thanks for pointing out what he wanted though.

There are 2.5" reducers in BOTH the downpipe and the catback. That just killed the flow of your 3" system and as far as I am concerned you may as well have found and bought 2.5" system.

Reason being is that they are made to bolt to the factory DP.
Turbulence is a problem when a 3" pipe is bolted to a 2.5" flange.
Not that I think what you have done isn't smart. You have to admit though, your system is built to be just that. An entire exhaust system.
Their parts are made in a different way. They are parts to bolt on to the other wise factory car and give it better over all performance.
Not that I think that deserves a higher price or anything...

No disrespect ment at all, I am sure you already know all this.

Out exhaust comes with a short adapter piece that lets you bolt it on to your stock downpipe & Cat and then remove it and go full 3" once you get a downpipe & 3" cat or test pipe ..tricky tricky stuff

Perrin all the way, first of all its just an exhaust and as long as it is 3 inch all the way back there is not going to be much of a difference as far as numbers go between the two of them but the Perrin exhaust is eriously the highest quality you can get. I live right by these guys and I talk to them all the time and they really know there stuff.

It's $750 but if you want the high flow cat it comes to about $1,000 shipped right?

But how does the Perrin sound, that is what I want to know. Is it similiar to the AMS. Right now I have my heart set on the AMS. But I do like the quality of the Perrin better. I don't want to buy the Perrin, install it and find out that I don't like the sound.

Did any customer so far think the AMS exhaust was not of the highest quality?
