My car has 11,000 miles and no drivetrain problems - even after about 40 1/4 mile passes at full tilt

Upgraded clutch - exeddy twin disk - that has held the power fine

BTW - most of the time I use NOS the Ntercooler sprayer or some combo thereof and I make between 550 - 600 whp when I do that

That's what I was trying to say before... Well, reflash vs stand alone for the mainstream user...

Nice Al, My goal is around 450whp on pump gas, and I want to run as well or better than stock... daily.

Mt research indictaes that you would require a stroker conversion to 2.3 l to be able to pull these numbers on 94 octane. I am right at the edge in certain areas of peak cylinder pressure evn with the 100 octane. The leaded fuel would be better but the factory o2 sensors do not enjoy that so much. The good news is I can run 400 whp all day and night on 94 octane and do it very safely without even a hint of detonation.

...One thing I learned in aerospace is that budget and a non-conventional approch can, on occasion, defy physics... We live in a time of wonder in the automotive world. It's a time when you no longer have to "pick two" if you can afford it. I'd say Al's set up is close to where I'd want to be less a non-conventional set of pistons and headwork... for my pump gas purposes.
