Stock bov started to flutter

When I take my foot of the gas at lower rmp's it will make a fluttering noise and jerk the car a little. I first noticed it after I got an upgraded intercooler put on. Is this okay or do I need to do something about it? It does get Anoying....

Who installed the intercooler? My primary intuition says that they reinstalled the diverter valve incorrectly which is a common mistake.

+1

Check the DV. The bottom port should be on the UICP.

The dv is fine and was never touched during the install. Any other possibilities?

Maybe run a new 1/4" vacuum line from the bov to the intake manifold, bypassing the small 5/16 oem line. Just something to try.

They are going to flutter a little, I kinda like it, but if you are trying to hold boost and they do it sucks, You can always get an aftermarket one, but really the Stock BOV, is great. I have had about 6 Bov's, stock one has about 11,000 miles, Greddy Type S Great sounds great mostly more flutter, HKS works great, sounds good, FRL, little crazy, does not hold well at boost, just had it for the sounds and weekend entertainment, I cant remember some of the others, but right now I use the Tial Q and I will not and can not complain at all about it. I love this BOV, and wish I would have got one right off the bat. Sounds good, holds boost, works great for light throttle, full throttle, no flutter at highway going up hills. never a problem at all. I am the happiest with this BOV and I will say it, THAT TIAL BOV IS THE BEST

Also I heard upgrading the intake pipe can make them flutter a little more.
