new FP green 73hta and old green compare pics
I can personally say that I made 398 hp and ~390 torque (~297 kW) on a Mustang dyno on just 93 octane with my car a few months ago (over a few pulls). That car doesn't really seem to be pushing the turbo at all... especially with practically 100 octane race gas in the tank. It should be putting out well over 400 hp.

our dynos (dyno dynamics) read alot lower here, plus, this HTA has a different turbine to the one FP sells.
similar mods except one is evo 8 and one 9, either way, I would have expected more topend from the HTA turbo. Just handing out results, make up your own conclusions.
surprised the HTA is dipping so much boost when it's running a 1.5 bar actuator too.
The dyno sheet was in fact posted by the seller of the turbo's himself (gtpumps) so I doubt he would have posted it had he felt it was an unfair representation of his turbo.

Oh, I understand now. I apologize. I thought you were showing that graph as a representation of what the FP Green HTA could put down. If it is indeed a different turbo, then the numbers between mine and what you show there don't compare at all.
There will also be a difference in spool with the MIVEC system on the IX also. Did the BBK run on the IX? My guess if that is true then that is why you saw the faster spool than the other turbo, however I have no idea where it should start for that HTA as it is a different setup than what FP uses.
Thanks, and sorry for the confusion.

well, it uses the FP 80mm cover and HTA73 wheel, with 10,8 hotside and a smaller turbine to help spool. In theory I would expect the bbk to spool earlier but less top end than the HTA. The results I've seen so far speak otherwise though.
Something just doesn't seem right to me, because if it was really tuned and that car had some decent supporting bolt-ons I KNOW an HTA Green would be over 400. I had mine professionally tuned and even did some tuning of my own and it is over 450 on E-85 which only has a RON of ~105.
I realize it might be a low reading dyno, but so was the Mustang Dyno that I had mine tuned on.

I am not getting defensive, I am just trying to understand as to why that number is reading so low. Especially while it is running on basically race gas, something just doesn't add up.
100RON here is about 94 your octane. and remember out dynos read much lower over here, a stock evo will dyno about 150kw at the wheels.
the gt pumps turbo is using real FP cover and wheel.

Burnzy, comparisons from two different cars is about as useless as it gets . The HTA green will make more power than BBK on both pump and race. And it only gives up 50-100rpm spool. Its a better turbo.
Taking what you said on faith, it seems like the forthcoming BBK-B might be more of a direct comparison to the new HTA Green than the BBK.
I loved the HTA green as much as anyone else. That HTA green graph I posted isn't a "real" hta green though so as a said, make up your own opinions I'm just putting info out there.
u just confused them now burnsy. this is the turbo he is talking about NOT the FP Green. It uses some green parts but it isnt the same turbo. It is a knock off made here in Aus by GT Pumps

Not many people over here are running the Green HTA yet. I actually have one sitting in my garage though that I am putting on this weekend. Im abit nervous considering i have found jack all results on it. Exciting times
Aus dynos do read lower than yours though as burnsy mentioned.
