ACT HDSS good for around what power level

My car currently has the ACT HDSS clutch kit. I plan on going with a BBK full this summer and never even gave thought about my clutch. Should it hold the power I expect to be around 400-425 whp.

Main uses is auto x and a few road racing track days a year.

How many miles have you put on it with that power/torque levels?

Agreed 100% the tq will kill a clutch. The ACT is great for my pump power level only at about 380tq and 450hp. She haldles it great for the past 40k since the 61mm has been on. Just can't shift the bastard past 7800.

Clutch is def wonderful to DD though

Do you launch the car much? How is it holding up to that if you do?
Also just curious which method you use for launching if you do. Thanks

Dont launch it to often except for the occasional illegal activity .

But yea kinda just have to slip the clutch up and try to put the least amount of shock to the drivetrain possible

Good to hear, that's how I've always done it. Just wasn't sure if slipping a street disk with more tq and hp would heat it up to much.
