speed density help!

recently ordered a speed density conversion and looking to install and wire it up. has anyone done this and have directions for wiring up the air intake temp sensor to the ecu?? any help would be great and tips for the install as well

question abou t installing the iat.. can you just splice into the fuel temp wire instead of running it all the way to the ecu?

Oh, I didn't know such a thing existed...I just had bought 'all' the parts individually and did a 'DIY' kit LOL. There is a wealth of info in the EcuFlash section, the links I provided should get you started.

If you know where the wire is, sure...otherwise just run it back to the ECU, pretty easy.

Is there a picture available to show me where this wire is? I searched through the forums and found nothing.

Really? My tuner and I tried without the sensor and just the Omni4 and my car wouldn't take the ROM. Wouldn't start at all. Any idea why?

It should definitely start and run. I just helped someone tune their SD without their IAT sensor hooked up yet.

But, I would advise against it. If you don't have any temp comp, then your tune is going to be off the further you stray from the temp that you tune at.
