Well If I new I was going to be one I would not have purchased it..This is a 100 %production box 30-6310 #025 it replaced the 30-1310 and was supposed to be a direct replacement for my series 1 In AEM's own words they have not spoken to anyone that has replaced there S1 1310 box with a S2 6310 until I called them....now I am stuck with it.

Oh and I found a new bug after a cold start then die.

So I run on E85 and its been cold enough to start doing cold cal in the 30 degree range early in the morning. When E85 does not start or stumbles and dies one thing that has always helped with E85 is to turn the key off , wait for the main relay to click off and then try restarting....however when I do this the S2 EMS goes completely off line..It does not turn the main relay back on and therefore no fuel pump relay..To get it to work again I have to shut it off again but wait about 20 seconds and turn the key back on for the EMS to energize the relay....
Its happened four times in 2 days so I either have another bad box or its a glitch in the OS

The synchro start delay in S1 doesn't really bother me, it gives the feeling like a racing car starting...

But I'm pretty amazed when I read the throttle response is like day/night.
Especially to me it revs great after a good tune! So must be awesome?

I did this through an option in AEM... And my car and other cars i tune that had this issues before now run smooth as silk. I admit it was very aggravating and annoying... But once i got the issue figured out it runs just like a stock ECU... nice and smooth

How about a little more information than that?

I've fought this with my car for years now. My car is smooth as silk in every other way but there. Most other Evo's I've tuned don't appear to have it as pronounced as my car though. I'm beginning to think it may be a TB issue or something of that nature on my car but would love some insight on this since you appear to have found something. We can go to PM if you wouldn't mind?

I tuned a 75mm TB Evo setup very similar in just about every other way to mine except a smaller turbo and it has none at all. That car is redicilously smooth even with no IAC the idle is solid with A/C on or off!
