evo8= no mivec, just in case you didnt know and 30 psi is not too high for a 35r. But I would buy a wideband and a new good tune to make sure your car is running properly.

We didnt tune this car this go around.

For some reason the guy that owned it decided that he was going to go to Forged since they were $200 less. This car was a guy named Oleg, then it got sold to our friend Big Jesse (who now has a 3586/670whp monster) and then it went to auction and thats where the guy that had it in the Dalles got it from for like 14k or something. The car just has an IX front end as has been pointed out.

There was a lot wrong with it when we saw it to fix the balance shaft belt being out of phase and a few other things I seem to remember that may or may not have been on the invoice. Feel free to call and we can talk about it, I happen to know the history of the car for quite awhile and who has owned it and how the guy that you got it from came about it.

I seem to remember it had HKS272s in it and not stock cams but I wont stand by that for sure. I'd do cams and a SD conversion to make the 35R happy to be honest. Its funny we heard about how this had a 4292 on it and it had only made 360 or something on a normal Mustang. Seems some exaggeration has taken place. 30 psi is okay on the street to be clear if its tuned right, but with a stock MAF the map has to look pretty messed up to make it all work. I think I know why it made so little power (360 x 1.15= 414 dynojet) though, it has no timing in it.

Thanks; I appreciate all the info on this. I was debating on whether or not I was going to bring it back to Forged Performance for any repairs or upgrades, especially since they did most the work on it, but I've heard so many good things about English. I'll definitely have to take a trip out to Vancouver sometime in the near future to have it tuned and/or worked on. Again, I appreciate the info.

Speed Density, no more mass air sensor just a MAP sensor.
