At $1700 USD per set, I'm not sure why anyone would really bother to find out. With proven top-tier rods like Oliver, Carrillo, etc., available for much less, there is little reason to care about them.

First of all you should review what the power goals of the car are before determining the rod to be used.

No one should really be making recommendations until this much is known.

The reason for the question is - i have 2ltr forged with CP Pistons and HKS H Beam rods in at the moment....I was running a Full Race 3076r Turbo Kit...but i have recently upgraded to the Garrett Full Race GT35r turbo...hence the hike in power, hence the question.

So again does anyone know the spec of the HKS H Beam rods?

So many rod's I've been running 2 years making over 600 daily and just shy of 800.

With that price of that HKS rod's you can buy a new engine from BR or AMS and call it day.

Hope this helps. Unless your looking for me to sell you on another set of rods, when your car already has these

"HKS Connecting Rod

See other Engine - Connecting Rods An H Beam Connecting Rod has been newly introduced to accommodate high output for tuned engine. The rod was newly designed by computer stress analysis in order to accommodate more than 600-horse power. Durability has been increased by implementing WPC as surface treatment. The connecting rod can be installed on normal pistons and normal cranks because the pin diameter and center length were made equal to those of factory designated units"

"HKS CONNECTING RODS
HKS H-Section Connecting rods are designed for high performance engines in which expansive stresses during high rpm often cause a factory supplied connecting rod to fail. Designed using advanced CAD and FEA engineering software, the rods have been specified from high grade treated and conditioned billet steel. The result, is a connecting rod suitable for the most demanding engines with a racing purpose"

Your rods are fine i would be more worried about the pistons. If you have the CP pistons with the regular wrist pins i would be careful. A friend of mine collapsed a set of standard CP wrist pins on a stock 9 turbo (30 psi), since then i will not order a set of CP pistons with out the HD wrist pin upgrade.
