What else do I need for HTA Green?

Hey guys,

I want to step up to a HTA Green and am looking for advice on what mods I need to make it happen. Here is my current setup:

ETS 3.5 Intercooler
Upper & Lower ICP
Intake
Walbro 255
IX Bov
Greddy 3" Turboback
Megan o2 housing -ported

I don't really want to do cams yet, so I was thinking the minimum I will need to make the HTA Green happen will be Injectors & ARP Head studs. Do you guys recommend anything else? What size injectors should I get? 880 or 1000?

Thanks guys!

what inj are u on?

I have 780 and they are perfect for 91 oct. talk to your tuner about injector sizing.

I jumped from green to HTA on 780 PTE

my tuner recommended 1050s for e85

go with 1150 high impedence injectors from FIC the will do well on e85 if you choose too...other than that cams man you have a pretty decent setup now...i'll tell you though with cams that turbo will really shine....oh and i'm sure you know but you'll need the evo viii install kit.

ported mani/turbo,and the install kit. Or ready to roll with injectors big enough to grow into and the install kit.

depends how much boost you want to push maybe a better BOV, something that's going to hold above 28 psi

I won't be running e85 because there just aren't enough places near me yet, but I do plan on running a meth kit down the line. Will 880s be good for a meth setup?

I want to run like 28psi on 93 and then raise it down the line when I get my meth kit so I guess the arp studs and a better bov are a must. I might also get a ported exhaust manifold before I do it but I don't plan on doing more mods than that for a while.

I didn't know I need an install kit for the hta green. What does it consist of?

Get 1000cc or 1200cc so you only have to buy injectors once - thats the mistake I made. At 451whp on gas I'm at ~94%IDC. No room to jump to E85 there. Also throw in some big cams like S2s!

if you dont mind the noise, I would get an o2 dump instead of just the ported housing. You will get more power from it.

A bit off topic of a question, but anyone know why FP charges $250 for the Evo 8 install kit but CBRD only charges $100 for theirs? Is the fp 8 install kit much better than cbrd's?
