Best Break in period for clutch
Just replaced my clutch with a stock one, resurfaced flywheel and rebuilt tranny at 78000 miles. Looking for a recommended break in period. I was thinkin about doin a 3k break in period which is when i change my oil all the time.

i did 1000-granny shifting-under 3k rpm-no boost-miles. just to be safe...
but i hear anywhere from 500-1000 is good...but also there are some people that dont even do a 'break in period.'

As long as the clutch is fully engaged you don't need to go easy at all. The break in period should be 500-750 miles during shifting, if your foot is all the way off the pedal don't be scared to get on it.

I say about 500-800 is a good amount time to break it in.
Anything below 300, i wouldn't beat/abuse the clutch. If you want, then better have more moneyz in your pockets. [:

A stock clutch only needs about 2-300 miles. Stock components are designed to break-in very quickly since they know most owners won't observe break-in recommendations. Aftermarket clutches require 500-750 depending on the material.
