could have but it didn't luckily lol.

The shop that built my car has done it to several Evo's with twins and had no issues. His shop Evo made 740whp/540tq with no break in and it still works like a champ. But i do agree with not shifting hard for a few hundred miles. I drove 1100 miles cross country right after the tune so as soon as i made my destination i was abusing the clutch and had no issues.

so the disc has its full surface area grabbing. they really dont need much at all. i have done 75 miles then strait on the dyno. on stock cars none at all and zero problems.

Yeah it was kind of a leading question. I have never broken in a clutch and never had any problems.

i think a lot of it is old school thinking from stuff actually taking a while to break in from poor machining. same with motors, they hardly need any break in.
