Comp Clutch Stag3 3.5 break-in Period

Ok so no where does it list the break-in period for this clutch. Should I just do the usual 500miles or 300 like stage 4? or more?

I've searched for an hour now and every clutch has a break in listed except this one.

Part Number: 5152-2600

I would do 500 just to be safe. I have the stage two and have about 98miles on my break in. It will be the most boring 500miles lol

Yea, 500 to be safe is what I will do. Going to take awhile cause I work offshore and I'm gone for weeks at a time.

I would like to hear what you think of this clutch when you get some miles on it!

I have the Comp 3.5 and read somewhere that there is no break in period needed. I did take it easy on my 5 hour drive back from English Racing tho (2.5 hrs in traffic).

I've put about 2k on it so far and it still feels great. I have not launched once on this clutch tho (VIII, 525hp/403tq, stock block, stock flywheel).

What does the stage 3 drive like?
I was looking at that, but I might do a stage 4 instead for extra holding power.

I'm digging the clutch, not so much the light flywheel it has some decel noise.

I broke it in for 500 miles, hold great @ WOT, i believe it should hold enough hp/trq for a low boost 35r

The stage 4 is un-sprung so engagement is going to be alot more rough. You just have to get use to it, this is why I stuck with the stage 3.5* sprung clutch.

Thats good to know. Ill be lucky if the car sees 450whp and 400tq lol. So i know the stage 3.5 will be more than enough for my setup. Im just on the fence about reusing the ACT streetlite flywheel. I bet it has a role in all the noises i hear

Anyone else experience the loud noise when its first engaged in the morning? That is normal correct? Its a good clutch, no lockout issues at high rpm like an ACT.
