Better late than never!

Did the ss clutch line and restrictor removal today.

Have to say this cleaned a few things up for me. A lot of the notchiness that I had experienced seems to be gone. The clutch pedal feels much more defined than before - no more guessing at the engagement point. It feels like a clutch now!

Overall I'm happy! Can't beat the price that you pay for this mod and the response you get for your money!

Hopefully this will cure any possible "early" clutch failures if they were ever going to happen for me.

I can say I got on it a couple times pretty hard tonight and smelled no "burning clutch."

For those of you out there who are on the edge about doing this or not, do it or have it done!

from what i hear, removing the restrictor does wonders for clutch engagement, but at a price.

The reason the restrictor is there is so that under hi-stress, hi-load situations, your clutch is the one that takes the shock ,and takes the heat, instead of your transmission.

So don't get too launch happy, or your perfectly working clutch may not have a working transmission to work with.

If you know how to launch an AWD car with a manual transmission, you don't need the restrictor.

Restrictors are for dummies!

From what I read just put a good clutch in the car. I would rather have the clutch die then the tranny.
