"We" meaning you are a employee of Inline Racing?

Are they a vendor on Evom?

I totally understand and I agree with you. I got wrist slaps when I was posting dyno sheets without vendor status, so we got one. I just think the same applies here, unless you are more careful with your posting style. Picking up what I am putting down?

Either way the motor build looks great. I'm tossing around ideas for my personal motor build currently as well so it's good info.

I was just looking over your engine build very nice. One more thing you might want to do before you go any farther is o ring the block SS or copper. With those power goals it will help keep you from blowing head gaskets and create a better seal.

Interesting rod choice. Do the manley's use 6 bolt or 7 bolt rod bearings? I went with HOWARDS rods, from MAP, these use 6 bolt rod bearings and 7/16 rod bolts instead of most rods which use 3/8. I hear ya on the wrist pins, I got a set of HD's from JE

that is a common upgrade as well. I do like your build
Manley TT runs 7bolt rod bearings. We researched the aged+625 rod bolts and they are more than capable w/ the 7bolt design. They are expensive but if you check the HP per cylinder rating you'd see they are worth it.
as for the wrist pins... you see where im coming from then, lol. ALOT of builders overlook this and blame the piston companies when they crack... when in fact they arent rated that high to begin with.

have been busy w/ other stuff... but the head is now securely on the block w/ ARP headstuds and new gaskets. Cosworth M2 cams are going in tonight w/ an HKS exh cam gear (mivec only needs one) and a pretty neat purple HKS timing belt, LOL... That should button it up minus the Intake Manifold/Tbody which i havent decided what to do w/ that yet.
But at least we can get it in the car w/ the Shep 5spd transmission. Im going to try and use my semi new HKS GD pro twin disc clutch/flywheel and see how it holds up. Noone seems to know what the TQ rating is on these things but it worked great on my old 35r setup (577whp / 430ftlbstq) Since i have it, might as well use it... if it fails, i'll go w/ the tried/true QuarterMaster twin that has been working great in the other cars at Inline.

Updated pics to come.

UPDATE 3/25/2010

It was decided that the Intake Manifold would be custom fabricated instead of going w/ any aftermarket one currently available. Here are the CNC cut aluminum pieces for the Intake Manifold complete w/ angled velocity stacks. I'll post pics once all TIG welded together.
Btw, next update will be of the fabricated exhaust manifold once we position the turbocharger in front of the car.
