I was about to jump on the PTE billet 6765 bandwagon... but at the last minute we were presented w/ an opportunity to try out a custom precision turbocharger. I kinda want to get some test results first before mentioning the turbo itself.
but give Huy a call, lol... im sure he can explain the specs to you Chris.

btw, how's the re-build going over there? hit me up man.

The exhaust manifold for the car was just completed today. All stainless steel and TIG'd by Huy Tran of Inline Racing. The turbo flange can accept BOTH a T3 or T4, which will make experimenting w/ different turbos alot easier for me. Here are some pics... (I'll have the Intake Manifold pics once it is welded up... ) I think its the 1st Top Mount Front Facing setup on an Evo... but i could be wrong, lol. Its using dual Tial 38mm vband wastegates instead of one 44mm

it definately looks killer! Btw, the passenger side bend is to clear the powersteering and parts of the timing side... and the 2 bends near driver side so that the down pipe can snake around
I'll post more pics once the downpipe is done so you all get a picture of how the design works. Oh, and of course of the new intake manifold!

Its a straight T4, not twin scroll. Deciding to use one or two wastegates has nothing to do w whether or not the housing is divided. Typically a divided housing uses two. But it could use one w dual passages. A single entry housing can use multiple wastegates. I opted to run dual 38mm vs having one 44mm or 60mm. Necessary? Maybe not... it was a design decision. And the thought is that it would reduce backpressure. Only testing will tell, but the whole idea behind this build is to try something new. Collector is correct per firing order.
