So whats the best street cam for the evo ix. I already tried searching, and it brings up threads from 2006 and "IX" is two short to search. Thanks

 

So when you say street you mean idle like stock. If that's the case then the Cosworth M2's or GSC S1's as they are the 2 cams I've seen and heard in person. Both idle like stock.

 

I have GSC S2 and like them. Only others I looked at were Cosworth M3 and Kelford 272.

 

I guess I meant for something for stock turbo to something like a fp black. Nothing that needs major head rebuild. Just some springs and retainers. Im not looking to rev pass 8500rpm maybe only to 8200 or so

 

either gsc s2's(witch i run in my IX), kelford 272's... those will be your main answers

I've been running a used set of M2's with spring and retainers, for over a years, on a stock Turbo. Idles great, but some of that is due to the Tune and I only spin it to 7800 max, rod bolts are the weak link in a stock block.
