Flywheels

Yo this is a question for the guru's (those ****'s that just know everything . How much does the Fidanza Flywheel weigh and is it a worthy investement or is it too fragile in efforts to make it really light weight?
Also I heard that the stock one weighs 14lbs. Is this correct?
Later!

My Fidanza weighed in at 9.62 lbs. Haven't weighed the stock one yet.

I'm waiting on the ACT flywheel, called X-ACT, they will be offering a street/strip model and a auto-x model, chromoly so it will resist long term warpage that aluminum is prone to.

Yes, 14lbs so you are already pretty light.

That is pretty light Timzcat.... The stock flywheel on the the 350Z is 24.5lbs (obese piece of shi... um) hehe well it does have to deal with a V6. And their aftermarket one goes down to 14lbs. I'm telling you that car is absolutely beautiful in red, blue and silver but needs mad work as far as horsepower and agility.
Peace
Oh and thank you You guys are awesome.

I'm running the ACT and the Fidanza together. So far no problems, motor seems to rev more freely than before. Clutch is holding up just fine for my car, I don't get the burnt clutch smell anymore. All and all, money well spent IMHO.

Yes, the motor revs up a lot quicker. I haven't noticed much difference in the revs coming down between shifts. If anything, it kind of hangs for a sec. before winding down.
