What head gasket are you using? Alot of people are saying they use cosworth. How much better is a cosworth head gasket than a new oem head gasket? Any help will be appreciated.

+1 on the oem..I had a cosworth one but engine needed to be redone before I could really test it.

We have experimented with OE (out to 1100whp), HKS (currently 770), Cometic non-HD, Power Enterprise, etc.

A stopper style gasket is the best design hands down. It takes some looking to find that and for awhile HKS was the only one that offered it in the 2.0L bore. PE does in 87mm stuff.

The cosworth is a stopper style gasket. I have only found it in the 86mm not the 87mm. It comes in two thicknesses 1.3 or 1.5mm.
