Trial and error?
I run the jun 272's with my stroked motor and my friend with a similar setup ran different cams I forget exact cams but I liked my jun's to be honest I dunno if I'd run anything else.
. This however is not the issue for me , its the drivability that im concerned with as a Daily Driver. "BIG" cams come with duration which reduces vacuum. This can cause intermittent stalling and poor lowend drivability which I dont want. I prefer to lose some power while mantaining the near stock drivability with a less agressive cam.
Whats the purpose of having cams when u cant hear the sweet lope!

That makes allot of sense Mikey!
. Thanks for the insight
i talked to greg@gsc about cams for my 4088r 2.2 and he said the s3 will make less than the s2 until about 5,500-6,000 and will only peak 10-20 hp more. to me thats not really worth it to go with the s3.
