S2 cams on stock turbo overkill?

I was looking into the GSC S2's for my bolt-on E-85 stock turbo setup. Would this be overkill in your opinion?

Mike, do you suggest the stock springs and retainers in this case, or would it be needed to upgrade the valvetrain bits?

I have atleast a dozen local cars running s2's on stock valvetrain with no issues.. Keep rev limiter in check and the car is fine with them..

I had S2's in my stock turbo on pump gas, changed them out for Kelfords becasue of the breakages that were happening, I believe that was a core issue though and now everything is fixed.

I have ran both back to back same car, roughly the same conditions (varied temp 5*, humidity no more than 10%) and the S2s are worth more power. I have made 383-387 on a stock turbo with SD on 92 octane multiple times and 400whp once. I have yet to do that with the Kelfords.

Before we discuss the whole cam deal again, please remember it wasnt just the S2s. Piper, Cosworth, Kelford, Comp, and GSC all had one or more failures.

Both of them felt about the same to tell you the truth. Again without back to back tests like the AMS one its all just speculation about which one makes the most power.

And yes I know a lot had failures but Kelfords were one of the first to switch their cores so I went with them...I was just talking about my situation.
