I wouldn't buy anything from a company that has a "pickup fee" for anyone local who wants to pick it up instead of having it shipped! What a crock of ****!

I saw their hi-flow cat on eBay for 50$ plus shipping. Not sure how reputable they are as there is no info on them if you search via Google.

I did a search on AllTheWeb.com and found a review on some of their parts for WRX's. Not exactly the most glowing reviews since no one seems to have received the correct screws, but overall they liked the quality of the product.

Did you notice that the pipe opens up after the flex section, then tapers down right before the cat hookup..??! Why would anyone want that?! Talk about uneven flow...

Just got a reply from the vendor that the downpipe is 3 inch all the way. The one in the picture is not the actual unit.

I carry Megan Racing products and have been pleased. If anyone is in San Diego you are more then welcome to come and examine the item.

I can also get some more detailed digital pics for you if you are undecided.

have you had personal experience with their Evolution downpipe? please feel free to explain...

otherwise, your comments do not relate to the question at hand... they do have some low buck stuff in their line up, but the downpipes I have found to be of great quality for the buck... I don't suggest that you buy through eBay though, either deal direct or through a retailer that cares a little more about your sale than an anonymous ebay "guy".

I'm trying to understand what is "cheap" about a polished SS downpipe with a warranty?

Should the price be raised to HKS levels, just because?

The welds are

are you saying why put a autometer boost guage at $45 when there is a DEFI? Why use a MBC when there is a EBC? Why use a apexi AFC (which is relatively cheap) when there is a more expensive unit available? Why use tanabe springs when there is a full coil over??

If it does the JOB, and saves me cash.. why not..

But I my self am going the HKS route. Got the cat back already (hi-power) from Group-S and I'm going back to get the 3 inch down pipe from them in 2 weeks. But if the unit that they will be offering does not come with a flex section, I might go back and rethink thie ebay downpipe (it does have a flex pipe).

and sorry, but $30,000 for a super car like the EVo is cheap. (the price) for what you get. Damn brembo and the recaros are like $10,000 already. So the car comes out to $20,000 only.. at $30,000 it's a bargain.. or what you may call "CHEAP".

But then again, what ever float your boat.
