weird question. is the coolant overflow tank needed?

i would think just running the line from the filler neck to the ground and adding a high pressure cap would take care of it. just yring to clean up the bay. i like empty.

please do not go dumping antifreeze onto the round. or road. leave the over flow. if you run straight water then fine. take it out but if you have any type of antifreeze leave it. also the over flow acts as a secondary reserve. if for some reason you get low it sucks it from your over flow back into the system.

if it spits out onto your front tires and you go into a spin youll wish you had it.. Not to mention its functional if it spits coolant and sucks it back in..

ok well my next question is does it have to even with the filler neck? or can relocate it down on a frame rail out of sight.

Trunk? Do you run the line under the car?

OP: Get a JMF Coolant overflow so it looks nice instead of the platic nonsense. Thats what I plan on doing eventually... not in a rush though
