stock clutch
stock clutch
sorry guys if theres already a thread out there about this..but im going for my tune soon and i need to no how much power a stock evo 9 clutch can hold..thanks
It's really hard to say. It depends greatly on what condition the clutch is currently in. But at the very most, i doubt it can hold more than about 380-400whp, for very long.
I'm making about 350whp(with stints to almost 400whp) on my stock turbo and my stock clutch has 73,000 miles on it with a ton of launches with beatings in the bits in-between. It holds just fine with no fade and still grabs decently. I'm installing a FP Black turbo along with a few other things next week, so i fully expect the stocker to be destroyed soon. Twin-disk(possibly Competition Clutch) will be installed in the very near future, but not before i find the stocker's limit. I'm interested to see how far and long it will go. Should be fun.
BTW, OT: Goshen, I pass it twice a day.
