rear end sound!

rear end sound!

i got a rear sound coming out of my rear dif. i gotit outt inspect the pinions and looks perfect! so new diaqueen and installed back. still is making sound. i know is on te back cause i lift the car and run it till 40mph and when i take the gas of it makes the sound.. what can it be?

you sure its not your transfer case??

i went under the car and the sound comes from the rear dif. Under the transfer theres is no sound. The louder sound comes from the inside of the rear dif.

to me it sounds like ur t case i had this happen to times. it sounds like its coming from the rear but its not

Theres is no sound coming from the t case. Only on the rear diff

The u joint right at the rear diff. I have seen them go bad and create some noise and since it is right at the pinion you may think the noise is the rear diff

Will check these week.. I use the car for a tv show and its started to sound also on the front. I think i also have the t case bad. Damn! But it only sound when i take the gas off and over 30 miles!

did u take the drive shaft off? if u did and didnt put it back on the way it came off it will make noise
