What you need to do is ask yourself,,,"how much power do I want?" Then post.
I recommend a walbro, kelford or gsc cams, spring and retainers, and definitely a different tuner

He locks ecus, and twists dyno numbers. He tuned my friends evo, stock evo 8 turbo (10.5), stock cams, stock fuel pump/injectors. Gave him a dyno sheet claiming 385AWHP! Come on. After a pump install. and a 20g and a re tune he made 315.
Jester is obviously a joker....

This is kind of off topic... When I purchased the car roughly a year ago the guy who I bought it from said my evo was pushing 350awhp. I'm not sure if he made that number up or thats what he was told when it was tuned. I didn't know much about turbo cars so I took his word for it and now im learning its no where near there. You win some you lose some.

Once I get the old buschur lower intercooler pipe off I want to post a picture of it and see if it is anything more than a stock pipe. Every picture ive seen it looks like a stock one. It sure doesn't look like the new stuff I got it.

Well I better have the transmission in there. I really can't say for sure as I have never had it off. I thought about calling shep and see if they have my cars vin on file.

As far as the clutch it feels fine so im not worried about it at this point. The most action this car sees is some spirited driving every now and then.

At the bottom of the transmission, there is an inspection cover. It is a round rubber grommet. Pop it out, shine a light in there. Look for a yellow pressure plate. That is how ACT paints their plates.

1000 are a good choice but with your mod list 880's will be enough for you, once you decide to go bigger you can get those 1000's.
