Intake Manifold Question

Just noticed again today that a vacuum hose has blown off my intake manifold again. No idea how long it has been hanging lose but its the second time, even with a zip tie on it this time. I was wondering if anyone knows what it is for since I didnt notice anything wrong with my car. I could take a picture but its dark out now but there is the 2 hoses running out together from the top of the intake manifold into 2 pipes just above the center of the manifold. Maybe 4 inches away I'd guess. Of those two it is the one on the left. If anyone knows I'm curious what it is for.

A vacuum hose off your car would make a huge difference. We are talking a decent volume of air escaping.

Ya, was hoping someone would just reconize what I was talking about but here is the picture of the hose that was off. After connecting it back up I noticed my idle is much calmer. Also noticed its not the hose off the intake manifold but off the TB. It is the yellow one. Any info on what it is for would be awesome. thanks.

That goes to your evap, egr, something emissions related, too lazy to look it up right now but yes, any leaks will affect idle. Just put a tiny drop of superglue on the fitting then slide and ziptie it on, or use hairspray, that works well too.

Spray a little bit of hairspray in the hose end and then slide it on and zip tie it. The superglue might be a little difficult to get off once you decide to upgrade throttle body or replace it. the hairspray will come off after a twist of the hose.
