hey guys

my car just started making a whining noise a couple days ago. i know my wheel bearing was going up (left rear). i am pretty sure thats what the whining is. if it was my t case would it whine in neutral? it whines the most in neutral. then also whines when i barely give it gas but when i really give it gas it does not whine?

thanks guys i really hope its just my wheel bearing i dont dog my car i have never launched it and never bang gears but sh8t happens ya know

 

look at the videos on youtube and see if it sounds like that, the TCase is a whine where a wheel bearing is a lower sound, and TCase whine will be louder

 

Post a clip of the noise so we can hear it for ourselves.

 

its not not really that loud but if it was not my t case it would not whine in neutral coorect?

 

i dont think you will be able to hear it it sounds like a jeep with biiger tires going like 60 mph lol

 

Does sound get louder as you put pressure on it? (turning right at speed, if you suspect left WB). If so, likely to be WB. Just dealt w/this myself. May also get someone else to drive te car, you sit in middle of back seat and trust your ears to tell you if sound is coming from in front of you (T_Case) or behind you (WB)
