Buschur Turbine Housing (wastegate)

Anyone picked this up and had it ported and ceramic coated? Im wondering if its worth the extra $195 on the $295 price tag.

I hear it will allow the boost to come on quicker and last longer.

Oh yeah, I meant to say mine is shot and needs to be replaced. I plan on getting the 10.5 since thats what it has Im just wondering about the porting and coating-- if that's worth the money and what benefits it would have. Im worried that it might affect the lifespan of the stock turbo that already has 60K miles on it.

Is you hot side only shot? Any way regardless, if you turbo already has 60,000 mi. on it I would not put more money into it. I would save up for a new/used one. Worry about porting and coating that one. You will not need to retune unless you change to a different size turbo.

Im getting a crazy metal ringing sound and sporadic boost fail-- its the waste gate not opening/closing properly.
