That would be hard for me to do considering they have the tranny out already.. Like I said before. This is their first aftermarket clutch install.. They have done many oem clutch installs. Would the aftermarket clutch install be like the oem one or is their a difference?

Did they have to force theirs in?
They shouldn't have to force anything on. If it's correct clutch for the car, the install should be as simple as an OEM clutch.

Did you verify that you have the correct clutch? Not just the box it came in, but the actual clutch itself.

I thought so. No, I haven't confirmed if the clutch itself is the correct one. Only the part number. I tried calling the company but I guess they're closed already. How do I confirm that the actual clutch itself is the correct clutch?

And they said " It will fit but it would take a little forcing to bolt everything up. After I heard that I said "stop doing what you're doing until Monday when I can get some info from the company". Sigh*

The clutch itself should have the part number stamped on it somewhere.

According to Exedy's website, if you bought their stage 1 clutch, it should be 05803 or 05803HD, depending on which one you bought.

you should not have to force anything to go together on the clutch. We have installed every clutch on the market and recently three exedy single plate clutches and NEVER have a problem with them. As some others said. Check the part number on the clutch and make sure it is correct
