There is, I believe, only one evo 9 to ever reach 400+awhp on the stock turbo. The oem turbo simply cannot flow that much air.

Do some further searching and you will find you need full bolts on and a turbo upgrade. You can stick to a stock frame turbo such as the FP Green or BBK or Tomei Arms or Map SST.

Make the search button your friend.

There are a couple 400whp stock turbo Evos in the SF Bay Area...

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...o-9-turbo.html

^That's one of them... Note: It says 395whp, but that was on e78...not e85. He's at 400+ now with a healthy tank of e85.

That thread also mentions a 403whp stock turbo Evo

400whp also means different things on different dynos... 400 on GST's Mustang Dyno (or anyone's for that matter) would read much higher on a Dynojet or Dynapack...

400 is like the max to get out of the 9 turbo but not like your going to hold it long lol. you would be better to upgrade turbo you need all bolts on for sure and you will need meth injection or higher oct like race gas to do it

ported evo 9 turbo
ported intake manifold
ported T/B
Ported exhaust manifold
Ported o2 housing
Intercooler piping
Air filter intake
Crushed evo 9 bov or Aps twin vent bov
3" TBE
testpipe
Kelford 272 or S2
1000cc injectors
Aem 35 psi boost guage
AEM or innovate wideband
Really aggressive tune 30psi most likely will never hold that expect 25 psi or so
Meth injection or Race gas or higher oct 110 e85 etc

Yeah, 400 on a 9 turbo with E85, yes with supporting mods.

As you stated right now you only have a TBE and drop in. Hope you have saved up for mods.

considering e85 is rare in nj, i am assuming the OP meant 400whp on stock 9 turbo and pump 93.... which is doable but tough.
