[QUOTE=JDMevoBOOST;8224328]I strongly suggest converting to E85. I hate to say it because it's been beaten to death but a FP black on 91 is just not what that turbo was meant for. That turbo was meant for big boost 32+ on good fuel. So basically you gave up all your low end to run a black in a budget sort of setup on 91 gas which is quite horrible.

well if 91 is all you got around town and no E85. look into getting a meth injection kit. some hardware stores sell stuff u can use in it.

There is not a whole lot that you can do other than minor bolt ons(intercooler pipes, air filter, air intake) or spend a lot of money on a stroker or bigger block.
I am sorry to tell you but it is a real compromise, big turbo means lag. You can still minimize some lag with a good tune and perhaps some other enhancements billet compressor wheel.

I owned 17 turbo cars and I knew the answer as soon as you wrote FPblack, that is the main reason why I stick with the HTA Green.

This is probably the best response so far.

But to answer the basic question, the Full-Race manifold and ECU controlled boost will help the turbo spool a lot faster. Also a better blow off valve will help. As a leaking blow off valve can hurt spool time. Opening up the exhaust as much as you can will also help. I'm not sure of this, so don't quote me, but I was under the impression a ported intake manifold and throttle body can help with spool as they do deliver a quicker throttle response.

What cams are you currently running?

No it will not help your lowend. Meth usually doesn't even come on till 10+psi. He was talking about gettting it so you can run 32+psi and really use the turbo for what it is worth! Making mad power

Nope. It is fairly simple... It sprays the whole time you are over 10psi (Or whatever your tuner sets it up at) and you usually have a 1 gallon tank in the trunk. Just drive ***** to the wall till you get low on meth, and just refill your tank. You only want to run 100% meth, preferably M1

You should look at upgrading your cams in the future. The HKS 272s are very mild. I swapped in a HKS 280 exhaust and gained 10hp above 6k which I was happy with but they are still not great cams. They are 6 years out dated. You should look into getting a high lift cam like the GSC S2s.

You can also go a bit more agressive on mivec to help spool if not already done.
Cheers.

I think 2.3 stroker kit is best bet but f dont want 2 do a engine rebuild get a hiflow intake with tb and a exaust manifold and if you wanted do sum portin on the head that would help as well. Preaty much anyting that helps flow more air will help. And unless u dont care bout ur motor dont run past 30psi or u will be risking it. Going fast is expensive and unless u want problems du it right.

I m so wondering......

To spool the Black like you want, you will need a full MIVEC 2.4 engine build with a 4G64 (preferably on E85).

Check out the John Bradley/English Racing threads on the subject.
