GReddy 720cc power limits??

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knew what the power limits of GReddy 720cc fuel injectors are?? My goal is 450 awhp on 93 pump with the FP Black. Much appreciated. Thanks!

If you make it to 450 on pump with those injectors, I would say the will be over run and I would just go ahead and step up to 850's to 880's.

a lot of people tell me to go bigger on these injectors too but check out what Dave Buschur said earlier in a different thread...

Like I say, I don't anything when it comes to all the "school" part of this. I just know what we can make on a particular injector with no fears of hurting our cars or a customers.

With that we have made 446 whp on a 550 cc fuel injector in a 4g63. That car weighed in at 2900 pounds and ran 10.72 at 132 mph.

We just made 548 at 30 psi in the EVO, this was on the 660 cc injector I had mentioned. We usually figure about 15 percent loss for the drivetrain, use the same equation on everything but the automatics which loose a ton more.

The fuel pressure is whatever it is stock in our car. All the fuel lines, fuel rail, filter and regulator are bone stock on the car. Just our fuel pump upgrade in it.

AFR's on the dyno we no leaner than 12.5:1. We are keeping the car on the richer side so it is safe and we can share these tunes with our customers.

The car has not MAF on it so I have no MAF flow rates. It is speed density.

Well, if you already have the answer, why create a thread?

The answer is ..... if you already have 720s then use them. If not get something bigger so that you don't run IDCs in the 100% range.

I am willing to bet that there is no sane person running an FP Black on an Evo in conjunction with those wimpy injectors. A Black will flow pretty close to as much air as a 35R. And I don't think that you'll find any 35R users relying on 720's either. This is especially true on pumpgas. Maybe on Meth you could get away with it. But, not on pumpgas at higher boost levels.

So, maybe someone running Denso's on a Black or a 35R on pump gas will chime in with their high boost experiences. There is a reason why no one has chimed in.....because that person doesn't exist.
