If it werent for this thread I would have bought a S2 old version cam set for the same price as the new ones from a vendor... plus not because Bill, Bob and Jack says its the best hands down....makes it the best!

Fair enough! You have a valid point. But, coming from an ex-dyno tuner's prospective, so do i.

I know i have personally responded to this question in several other threads lately. In all of them, it was not common knowledge that GSC revised the S2 cams after the AMS cam test. Each time i comment on this subject, i always make it a point to mention this. People get confused when they see the AMS cam test results and see the Kelford 272's on top. They must now realize that the S2 cams of today, are much improved upon and will outperform all other cams on the market in this range.

Also, i was told by Greg that there are no longer any old stock S2's in the market place. Might wanna check with him regarding the vendor that had them.

Polished lobes will have reduced friction.

there are no non-polished or non-coated S2 cams for the 4G63.

k well what i need to know is do you need an upgraded valve train for the GSC S2???, because the Kelfords you dont need to or so i been told.
