Well we got this turbo for customer on Friday
Unfortunately it is not going to my car Our customer has it for a rally cross buggy.
At same time in the workshop we refurbished the FP Red and if you compare the HKS you can see the quality difference in favor HKS.
I´m really interested to see this working.
One more customer has this for EIX (exchanging from FP green due to HUGE lag)

I'm more interested in seeing a comparison of this HKS GT II 7460 R vs. the Tomei Arms M 7960.
Not dissing FP, BBK, or CBRD turbo or anything. I'm sure they're capable turbos. However for me and for a lot of others in here, we're more interested in a turbo that provides more power with quicker or nearly identical to stock spool.
I also don't understand the part, (*Vehicles with mufflers or suction parts replaced for those of low resistance for improved response could suffer from surging.) Is that common?

I'll be looking at the most difficult part , the WOT 2-2500 rpm , band because to do anything there and make a broad spread of power is difficult .
I know it sounds wuzzy but most street cars live most of their life running between 2-3500 revs so the bottom end torque is good to have .
Mitsy designed these engines to be strong in the mid range so enhancing what they did isn't a bad thing .
Listen to DBurshur about up to 5500 and 500 Hp . He likes his cars best when they feel strong on the street , how many of you realistically drag/race enough to own a laggy pig .

My BBK Lite out-spools a stock IX turbo and I've made 409whp on straight 93 octane with basic bolt-ons (HKS 280s, full 3", MBC, 255/950s, FMIC/pipes).

The shop that posted the FP Green was laggy must be nuts. It that thing is laggy then you need to stay with a OEM turbo.
I'm not getting caught up in the hype. If HKS makes a part that actually produces real usuable power thats worth the money then I would def. consider it but something tells me this thing won't outspool a HTA Green/BBK Full and make less power.
I would love to eat my words though. I've always liked HKS products but over the years it just seems like there are better choices out there for less money and quality is the same (or sometimes better).
