Thumbs up Dyno Flash - Fuel Cut Annoncement!!

Hitting fuel cut ? having to turn down your boost ??

We have written some new code that totally eliminates the factory fuel cut.

We tested it today on a highly modified EVO and there is no more fuel cut at all

Previously we had been raising it to a very high level you would not reach unless you hit about 380 - 400 whp

Now we have the ability to take it out competley.

We offer this service for $49.99 by itself - plus shipping charge - or for $79.99 with our rev limit change and boost taper fix

SPECIAL NOTE ** As the cold winter air approaches it may be possible that some of our exisiting Dyno Flash customers may hit the fuel cut even though we raised it up to a very high level. Some of the stock boost tunes we did had a very slight raise in the fuel cut. IF any exisiting clients need the fuel cut raised for any reason - simply come by the shop or send in your ECU and we ill upgrade you to the new removed fuel cut FREE OF CHARGE and we will cover the Fed Ex priority shipping back to you.

This will be useful, but to clarify, did you really write new code or did you just change ECU parameters/values in some map(s)?

We make our programs by changing hexidecimal values in the flash memory of the ecu

When I say we wrote a new code - I mean we located the appropraite address in the data and changed the values to the correct numbers to eliminate the fuel cut

All that matters for the end user is that it works very well

In all probability, he disabling a parameter in a map or just setting it high enough that the sheer airflow will rip the hotwire out of the MAF housing before you get that much flow...not how I would do it, but Al hasn't blown anyone's car up yet, so I suppose it's working.

I'd rather have the fuel cut in place than pull away a safety feature, but that's just me.

Its very handy to take out the fuel cut - anyone approaching 300 whp will soon feel its dreaded effect

Anyone with cams will feel it fast unless they work around it

We offer a safe easy way to get around this issue for people making decent power

Of course if you dont watch your boost it can be dangerous !

Hey, I'm not even close to there, but give me time.
Even on a stock ECU, a cammed car will pull fuel?

Immediately - unless you increase fuel flow and compensate with the safc or similar maf signal cutting devise

This sounds kinda dangerous to remove fuel cut all together. With the fuel cut removed, what's there to prevent overboosting and damaging the turbo or engine? Raising the fuel cut seems like a better idea than removing it.

We have three different levels of fuel cut modification

Level 1 - up to 290 whp - good for stock cars

Level 2 - up to 380 - 400 whp - good for cams, etc

Level 3 - the new fuel cut elimination - removes it completely

We like to give our clinets the choice to set the rpms and boost cut where they want it - of course after discussing the risks

If you stick with option # 1 or option #2 abovew you will retain some fuel cut protection

I don't know IF they address it - never mind HOW they address it - BUT I know that no one addresess it for the very reasonable and fair price of $49.99 like we do !

What is the symptom of fuel cut? I have a little over 300whp and I haven't had any problems that I've noticed...
