Exedy Twin or Exedy Tripple ?

I am Bringing my evo Back to life...so Far this is what I have..

Buschur Racing 2.0 Complete Built Longblock
HTA37r BB Turbo kit
Buschur UICP
Buschur LICP
Tial BOV
Buschur Race FMIC

.....I am planning on Daily Driving, guna run E85, between 550-600whp

which clutch would be ideal and cost effective, same time can hold over 500lb. torque ? Push or Pull style...does it really matter ?

Triple because you are drag racing. If you were just driving it on the street and not racing, then maybe a twin. Regular pull style w/ a clutch fork stop.

If you are dragging I would go for the triple and push, or if money is tight at least pull with fork stop. I am at 500 foot pounds of torque right now on the Twin HD, but I never launch the car and don't really do any drag racing... They are rated for mid 500's torque at the wheels then they start to let loose.

Look fact of the matter is your fuel type will allow your tuner to add alot of timing which will yeild alot of tq. I too plan on running e85 next year. A twin disk would be fine just for highway pulls and DD but if you plan to do any drag then you will need a triple. The standard triple pull type should be fine. Just get a fork stop

i have never heard this chatter with mine LOL but if it sounds like quatermasters brand new then i understand. I was at jms when they installed one on a customers ride and we went rideing for tuning and all i could hear is that clutch squil very very very loud every shift. But after two days it was gone.

Most cost effective would be the tripple...I went the twin route and now have to upgrade to the tripple. I like launching too much

Thanks for all the tip...I am not Launching, nor am I dragging. My Buschur Longblock is w/ aluminum rods, which I am swapping out for Manley I-beams...I am thinking Exedy twin w/ fork stop.

Go triple just to be safe i made 560 ft lbs of tq and it slips even on highway pulls and it just pisses me off.

Would the twin be enough for occasional Drag use at his power level ? Or is 500TQ the limit, period ?
