Anything else needed to put a turbo-back on?

To my knowledge, creating a more free flowing exhaust will decrease exhaust back pressure and will increase boost pressure. Is getting a boost controller to control boost levels necessary? Or is the increase in boost negligable?
You may gain a PSI or to with a TB.
I think the main thing people are doing with a boost controller is setting it to hold stock boost levels to redline. The factory BC tapers boost significantly after 5k.
I have not really read anything where people actually have to turn their boost down after a TB install.
So if I understand your question correctly, no you will not need any boost control to bring your boost into a safe range. You will hardly notice any sig. difference in boost.
FWIW..I have a complete TB as my only mod and my boost readings are nearly the same as stock.

I gained 1 psi with my full turbo back exhaust....since I was already running 20.5 psi I had to turn it down a little. I don't think it would be a problem with the stock boost control.

A complete 3" turboback will increase boost by 1-2psi for a couple of seconds. Stock, I was seeing 1.3bar but once the turboback went on I saw 1.4bar. It only hits 1.4bar for 1-2 seconds then drops back to 1.2bar till redline. Going catless was just insaine pull!
