Just installed IX turbo - rich idle

I just installed a stock IX turbo on my VIII. Post install my closed loop fueling is rich. I previously was around 14.7:1 at idle and cruise. Now my wideband readings are 11.3:1. I have no CELs. Any thoughts. Could my front O2 sensor have been damaged? FYI my Innovate wideband is calibrated properly.

you would have a cel if u broke the front o2 sensor...happened to me once before. not sure how many miles you have put on since the swap, but sometimes it takes a while for a cel to pop up after mods. u could also try unplugging the battery to reset the ecu. im in the middle of putting a 9 turbo on my 8 so im interested in what u figure out here..goodluck

Update - during my install the front O2 sensor was VERY tough to remove. It required a breaker bar and impact wrench. I think it was cross threaded from the factory. In any case, a "no O2 sensor activity" CEL finally tripped. I replaced the O2 sensor and all is good now.
