I also agree after switching the XS Power the same as the Turbo XS FMIC I gained allot more power due to mainly less heat soak and also it was allot better in breathing. The ETS Kit with the 3" UICP would be great for you especially if you do a Ported TB or even upgrade the Intake Mani. Also listen to Rich he is very knowledgeable in this area and stuff.

I'm working on it. EGTs are at 900c at 7800 rpm at only 25 psi on 93, so I'm working on bringing those down with water injection before boosting any higher. I'm not a drag racer and can't live with those temps for road course stuff. I have an Aquamist kit but just haven't used it for a couple of years, so it needs some setup/tweaking for my current setup. I'm thinking I wouldn't have this problem if I were running a T3 kit.

What is your logic for thinking t3 might have reduced egt? The fact that you'd need less psi for the same power due to larger turbo size?

Perhaps I misunderstood, but XS Power and Turbo XS are not even close to being the same. One is an ebay brand and the other...well...isn't.

Less exhaust backpressure in general due to a better flowing hot side.

there was a rather heated thread a lil bit ago regarding ets bar/plate vs buschur garret core. and the garret core put down more gains and did it well. I wouldn't order the 3.5 ets core bar/plate go garret core 3.5 they sell it also. But I'd rather get the one that has been recently tested and that is the buschur street 3.5. There is a review of it in the reviews, nothing but great results. If you're getting a double pumper you are planning to go over 500 wheel on pump. Your IDC will be nice if you get 1200's. I'd select fic bluemax 1250's. You can not go wrong at all. 1000 is more than enough but might as well get the 1250's and scale.

I would skip the ETS 3.5" and go straight for the Buschur 4" Race core. It is more proven and whatever premium you pay over the ETS you will recoup when you sell it. There is a steady demand for Buschur Race FMICs because they have been proven over and over again in datalogged testing. I admit I'm biased toward Buschur stuff, but only because of the hard data coming from many racers on this forum for several years.

I have no idea. I'd just do a search on the forum. Someone must have tried it.

Yeah, I comprendo this 10-4. The problem with the larger wheeled stock framed turbos is the relatively restrictive, dinky stock 10.5 turbine housing. If you combine the poor flowing Evo exhaust ports with a restrictive housing then you need bandaid fixes such as Robert Fuller's personal setup with a stroked Evo Black. Where he needs an additional dump valve on the DP to try to lower turbine pressures and cylinder pressures.
