people with the oil squirters. its not something of a concern enough to even ask. I would say go to ER for the motor or go to a rep evo shop as any shop could build it if there builder is good. Im happy with the std2.4 i just made sure i got the best parts money could buy and not cheap out. I might switch to a LR2.4 pending if my current motor does everything i want it to do then ill keep it i dont think i will have any issues or wanting to switch. long as your 2.4 shorty its all good

We have used high compression as a way to make the most power on a given turbo not because it inherently needed it because of the ethanol.
Well my primary fuel will be E85 but since I tend to do a lot of traveling to see family and stuff back east where there is no E85 I wanted a tune that would allow me to run on 91 since everywhere has that.

As for the LR2.4 I think I might be to far into the 2.3 for it lol. I already threw my deposit down.

Unless I am mistaken.... If you are located in KS(Toto & Dorothy) and you were to head eastward to visit kinfolk, then you would be driving through mostly 93 octane states. If, however, on the contrary, your family ties were to pull you westward then you would have to drive through 91 octane territory.

Maybe you want switchable E-85/93 octane maps. Isn't Chris mellon in your neck of the woods. He could program it for you. I am sure.

Im not sure exactly where there is 93oct but when I was stationed at Fort Leavenworth we had 93oct but since Iv been at Fort Riley I cant seem to find any 93.

My family lives in Connecticut so I know I can go from atleast fort Leavenworth to CT and hit all 93oct its just I dont seem to have any 93oct near me.

HMMMM, that sucks! Is the E-85 fuel widely available in your area though? I guess that 91/E-85 switchable maps would be more realistic then, huh? At any rate good luck!

David can build you a nasty hi-compression 2.4L engine. Eventhough you may already have a deposit down on one of his BR 2.3L motors, he would probably gladly build you a 2.4 instead. Dave is the man!

Even if Dave is on vacation....he is still the man! In the meantime talk to Jarrod.
