Greddy Emanage and MAF question...

I am about 2 weeks away from getting my emanage installed to the car, and i wanted to check with you guys on something... Once i install the piggy back to the car, with the pressure harness and the injector harness... i should be able to remove the stock MAF from the car...

The one thing that keeps popping up is that once i install the HKS suction kit, i want to cap of the BOV stem, and buy the intercooler piping to i can get a flange welded up buy the throttle body... Am i looking at this the right way or am i missing something...

The stock intake system is useless with out the MAF box because it will be to short to reach now...

no that won't work. the e-manage will not convert your car to speed density. the pressure sensor is just a reference for the e-manage so that it can compensate fuel/timing while in boost.

So what you're telling me there is no way to get rid of the lil black box from hell with the Emanage...

So even if i leave it on, and i plug the BOV inlet, moving it to the intercooler pipe should still be functional as long as it is tuned, and the anti-stall feature is working properly...

I'd say get your ECU mapped by Dynoflash, they can get you an adjusted level of fuel cut or completely disengage the whole system itself. Im guessing this would in a way trick the ecu, but yuo would need to buy a MAP sensor along with the map plug.

No, I don't think you can do that. These DSM flow meters are not designed to be on the pressure side.

I'm going to have the guys at Dyno flash do the tuning hopefully towards the end of January... I am going to make my trip more than worth it because i plan to have a lot more mods by then... The car is going down for the winter...

I don't think that would work either, anyway...
