shearer manifold who has or had it?

im thinking about getting a shearer mani but for $1K im afraid of it cracking, anyone have this manifold over a year with no cracks?

has anyone had the shearer mani crack on them?

i dont know if i should just go with a $200 ported & coated oem mani that i know wont crack or just get the $1000 shearer mani that will make more power cost most but might crack

Doesn't it have a lifetime warranty? Most manifolds that expensive do, like ETS manifolds do

I have had my shearer manifold for 3+ years and it hasn't cracked yet. It bears the full weight of the turbo, dp etc. and holds up like a champ.

Another option is a Full-Race style tubular. I have one of those on my HTA Green. I am pretty sure they are lifetime warrantied as well.

Not sure about the overall gains, some people see a gain of +25ish peak torque over the stock setup. This is due to the tubular nature and the equal length runners. You may lose a little in spool up (barely noticeable) but you will gain power in the peak numbers higher in the RPM band.

Full-Race had some really great deals on their Manifolds too. I saved almost 200 over what they wanted on their website by PMing them on here. They have a vendor account. Look them up.

I'm supporting the Shearer. I have never seen problems with one cracking, etc. Those are the only manifolds I'd buy.

JMFab!!! FTW. Whatever you do make sure you install the manifold and heat cycle it a few times before trying to get it coated. Coatings seam to hold up tons better this way.
