K24/K20 vs. 4G64 max rpms???
Again this is NOT about a standard 4g63 2.0 which is what that car is running and your running your mouth about. Go read the title again. Its about a 4g64block/4g63head vs k24/k20 , and why it can out rev a 4g64/4g63.
I do have a strong dislike. Where I am from most Honda's will have their crappy stock exhaust with their fart cannon that they shelled out money for before fixing the driver side mirror that's hanging from the door. Oh and don't forget the 2 fenders that are different colors and both different from the color of the car.
I'm a car enthusiast, I like imports, muscle, exotic whatever. But I prefer imports and the most Honda guys are the reason the real import racers have had such a hard time gaining credibility.

Well considering I didn't bring up the engine swap you can go right ahead and direct your bull**** else where.
Im not talking about putting a k24 in a evo or anything, Were talking about why it can out rev a 4g64. Again read the title/first post. Its not my fault someone Else brought up putting it in a evo.
Again, you're completely missing the point. Maybe you didn't read the OP's post, but THIS thread isn't about throwing a k-series into an Evo. It's about comparing the rpm capabilities of 2 engines with similar specs. Every comment you've made so far is lowering the level of discourse from that point. Please stop.

I have massive loves for hondas. I miss my type R. I currently have a 99si with a jdm B16B CTR motor in it making around 180hp. it walked on my buddies stock evo.. lol Hondas are just better motors, evos are just sexy

Everywhere has ppl who hate hondas....but this is not what this thread was about...Its about comparing 2.4L and seeing why honda can Rev and make power alot higher than 4g64....
The problem with all this garbage is that people sit on here and argue about engineering calculations and garbage. I'm in school for engineering...it's all bull**** and no one knows what they're talking about because no one has ever done with they just sit around and read books all day and do a few supporting experiments.
That's great for an estimate but it doesn't tell you what the motor can do. I'll let you know what happens when I put a FP Black or hta35r on my 2.5L and have a reason to take it to 9k.
The last time my car was on a BW S366 we took it to 82-8300 ish on the dyno. It saw 8500 on the street with no ill effects - so I'll see when I get to the next milestone. If a rod comes through the block at 9k+ then obviously a limit has been found.
