^^^^ you also should expect to lose rpm in the high end on a stroker motor.

HTA86 can make nice power without the nasty lag like a 6765, and a 6765 really need 9000-9500 rpm to shine

What about the hta88? And isnt the max anyone has made with the hta86 around 750whp?

On a side note I was looking over the dyno sheet I posted and thought about what a 2 stage nitrous setup could add. I was thinking stage 1 100shot at 4.5k then stage 2 200shot at 5.5k or there about. Thoughts?

most wanted made 800whp dyno jet on a 3586 i think the 6765 does not spool great on 2.0 that being said i dont think the 2.4 will provide enough rpms either.

Mike has made over 800 with the hta86, Buschur has I believe 3 cars over 700 with it also. Mike has calculated 13% difference between his and BR's dyno so at 700hp you are roughly at 791 on his dyno. This turbo will give you a larger powerband and quicker spool up. IIRC the 727 that BR made was on VWJeffs car with the 6765 newly installed so it isn't the "old" hta88. Mike has also said that FP is coming out with a new turbo that is going to be comparable to the 6765, he has made 908 or so with the FP XXX turbo...

I still think and will run the hta86, it is a great turbo with quicker response.

I run the 6765 on my street car. Basic 2.0 with big cams, intake etc. I love this turbo makes stupid power for sure!

If I floor it at ~4k it hits 10psi at 4900, 20psi at 5300, 30psi at 5700, 40psi at 6400, in 3rd gear, for reference.

It is lazy part throttle stuff, but so is any 800hp+hp turbo.

Max power i think made on HTA86 is about about 820ish ? also 40psi at 6500 rpm is pretty laggy but you rev to 9000 or 9500 im sure which makes up for that lag also I agree with what mellon stated shifting anything under 9000 will fall under torque curve and wont be fun when it has to re spool. Could go with the 6235r

How about TS 6765? Or TS HTA88? Is the 6765 even advailible in TS?

No clue how TS would effect these turbos, Many ppl run them with standard t3 manifolds and have great results

When you run a turbo of that size, does the lag ruin the whole experience of the car?
