Hta86 is a good move for 800 plus.

2.4 will spool loads faster then a 2.0 on any turbo so something thats pretty laggy on a 2.0 will be much better on your motor.

What dyno you using for a reference for 800whp? I'd say HTA86 or PT6765.

T4 TS 1.06a/r 3586 on a LR2.4. Would be pretty sick on 40psi and be right around 800hp and still have a dope powerband!

The spool differnce between the hta86 and 6765 is really small. I just spent an hour looking an comparing dyno sheets of the two. And both are crossing 600whp right a 6k, on 700-800whp cars. And going by a few boost logs I saw full boost is right around 5250 on both. But yet the 6765 is good for almost 100whp more.

Still looking for opinions on bw s300 series turbos.

Well I found the 6765 in twin scroll, but havnt found any dyno sheets or boost logs backing up quicker spool/ more mid range power.

Right now my top 3 are, HTA88 TS, bw 91/79 TS/s366ETT TS, 6765 possibly TS. But theres not much info out there on these turbos.

PTE, theres alot of info the regular 6765 but not TS.

BW, theres mixed reviews on them nothing conclusive except it handles high boost good.

FP, theres alot of good info on the HTA86 but almost nothing on the HTA88. And based on dyno sheets the HTA86 has almost identical spool of the 6765 but alot less max hp output.

3g,

I'd run the ts 86 if I were you on pump, then when you need to break "800" you can do it on race gas or e85. This way the combination of added displacement and ts and using an 86 not an 88 will give you good spool, max hp and street driveability
