Front Wheel bearings

So, gonna do both front wheel bearings in about 5 minutes. I read thru the factory manual and it shows



Do I really need this tool?

Trick my DSM friend showed me when we did my rear hub...you can actually just turn the brake rotor around on the hub, put 3 lug nuts on evenly on the studs to give the rotor some room to slide, then use the rotor to pull the hub off. You have to use some strength tho to get the hub to budge off.

Nothing was damaged when we did this, just watch out for your ABS sensor.

I just beat the old one with a large hammer. The other one I went right on without an issue.

you could rent a slide hammer from your local parts store but how did the brake rotor thing work out???

I have done i think 5 of them and have never had an issue getting one out by hand once the bolts are removed.....F*cker is expensive tho haha
