Does anyone have info on the different net BR Mustache Bars???

bringing this post back from the dead.

i bought my RS and it had the AMS mustache eliminator kit on it already. the rear diff is freaking loud because the car has no interior and no carpet. it's loudest on light load and cruising. i thought the diff was going bad at first then found out it had the solid bushings. i don't mind it on track when i have a helmet on but the 3-4 hour drive to the track suck.

IMO it makes your car sound like it's got a dog box. In my car it is most noticeable at around 65mph, although it's certainly not as loud as my exhaust at WOT.

I have the Buschur Racing M bar and poly bush alum side mounts, a lot lighter, way better feel and no wheel hop with very little added noise, the bushings in the side mounts are key.

I installed my AMS mustache eliminator kit the other day. I have not gotten a chance to drive it yet (need to reattach the back half of my exhaust and throw the rear wheels on real quick). I can post a video for people that are interested this weekend.

Props to AMS for a pretty nice piece.

Our mustache bars I don't think add any noise to the car to speak of, the noise comes from using the solid side diff supports. We have changed our diff supports to use a urethane insert and they are quiet now too, we still offer the solid billet mounts for the side but recommend against them unless it's a pure race car and you don't care about noise.

It's not even that loud. I took mine out last night with it. The rear mustache bracket does not add any noise. I previously had the solid side support bushings in it which is the only noise that it produces. The mustache eliminator added zero noise.

Overall, its only somewhat loud on high rpm deceleration.
